Paul puts it this way in 2 Timothy 3,

he says, beginning in verse 13,

evil men and impostives are going to proceed from bad to worse.

Deceiving and being deceived.

But you continue in the things you have learned to become convinced of

knowing from whom you have learned them and that from a childhood,

which is why you need to make sure your children know the word of God.

From childhood you have known the sacred writings, the scriptures,

which were able to give you wisdom that leads
