John chapter 11, we're going to launch our reading at verse 39, so a little of biblical

background of what this passage is talking about. Lazarus is sick and Mary and

Martha and the friends of them informed Jesus, hey Lazarus is sick and they

expected since Jesus loved Lazarus for Jesus to stop everything he's doing to

go take heed to Lazarus condition but Jesus does not immediately stop what

he's doing and goes to check on Lazarus because sometimes God loves you so

much that he wants to show my love for you by my delay. John here what I just

said. See we think God loves us so much that he will move with haste but

nowhere in scripture will you ever see that Jesus ran. You won't see

anywhere in the Bible where Jesus was running because he's an on-time God

even when we feel he's late and sometimes he says I love you so much I'm

the conditions to get so uncomfortable so that when I come in your life and

do the miraculous you can't give your degrees the credit you can't give your

education the credit you can't give your accolades the credit I know you don't

like this but I'm trying to give you a different perspective I love you so much

I'm gonna make you wait. So they inform them that the one you love is sick just

like a lot of men this weekend we're sick may not be with an actual code but

we have sick hearts sick thought patterns and that sickness caused
