Hello everybody and welcome to a special bonus episode of Retro Nots where we're here to tell you what is happening with the

us and what's going to be happening in the future and I'm your host for this one Bob Mackie and who else is here today?

Oh the usual jackasses that's me Jerry Parrish and Ray Barnolt.

I wasn't calling Ray a jackass actually.

No that's fine.

I'm I constitute multiple jackasses.

We're all jackasses by association I think at this point but so if we sound a little different it's because at least I am using my unprofessional equipment and this is not it

is not a sign of bad things to come for the new season it just we are we are recording via Skype today just because it's a tiny episode and it just it's meant to inform you of what's going to be happening as I said before and just let you know where we're going.

Bob, have you actually looked at the list of things we're going to recite during the course of this podcast I don't know that it's actually going to be tiny.

I have but I I mean it's not going to be the scope of a normal episode is what I'm saying.

I see it's not going to be 90 minutes I mean I don't know what it's going to be look at look at your iPod or you know iPhone it will let you know I don't know that yet but you do.

So anyhow like let's talk about what's going on oh yeah in the second half of this episode is going to be we're going to be reading off the the backers who backed our first season on Kickstarter we've been meaning to get around to that for a while and so the next half of this episode is going to be a very very long list of names if you're not one of those names is going to be boring so it might not be for you.

But if you are one of those names you want to get you know get your good earphones on and listen up because we're going to be saying your name probably hopefully at the end.

Okay so what can we talk about well the biggest news is that I believe we said this before but we're going to be funded through Patreon and we'll go into more detail about that in a bit but we wanted to tell you guys that we are now going to be an official US gamer podcast.

Which is to say a partner podcast not actually part of US gamer itself.

Right we're bringing people to their site and hopefully you guys will check out.

Wait how do I want to say this? Someone help me out here.

It's one of those mutual relationships where there's a rhinoceros and then there's like this tiny little bird on the rhinoceros.

RetroNots is the tiny little bird and we keep the rhinoceros as teeth clean while it eats and then by letting us live on it the rhinoceros allows us to feed.

Something like that.
