I'm Ray Barnhold. I'll be hosting this evening.

I'm kidding. The story of the 3DO is not all about failure.

It's a video game history with a lot of different stuff of the business, with a lot of

things that were barely repeated today in the business, or not at all, or things that we

just haven't even seen yet in the future. For good and bad.

But the 3DO was mired in a bunch of 90s crap, basically.

How about that? I mean, specifically multimedia, the whole multimedia craze of having to,

not having to, but that whole desire to intersect games and movies and then add all these

different formats and media stuff.

I can't imagine anyone launching a console and focusing primarily on non-game things.

Right.

In a day and age like today.

You're alluding to my joke later. I mean, I say it's an intersection. It was really

more of like a rusty grinding up of the gears and it just didn't really work. I mean,

nowadays our big format question is, is that on Netflix yet? That's what I mean when

the 3DO is caught up in all this different stuff. So let's talk about it.

And again, this is a presentation, but Jeremy and Bob are welcome to chime in whenever

they can because I'm trying to make this a bit more normal at your own time as possible.
