Damn. So this week we're going to talk about the Colleco Vision, which is actually a console

that we've never really discussed in much depth on RetroNots. And I think part of the problem is

because it's sort of old. I mean we talk about old games but we didn't talk about it on

RetroNots because it's an old game to let me finish. Oh okay. Thank you. We talk about old games

on RetroNots. But historically we have tended to have a sort of blind spot to anything before

say 1985. And you know that's because none of us are in our 40s and 50s.

You know a lot of this stuff sort of predates us. But also in the case of CollecoVision,

it was a very short-lived system. And that wasn't really the CollecoVision's fault. It was the

victim of a much larger malaise that affected the US console industry about a year after it launched.

So it was just the victim of unfortunate timing. But it was actually a very very good system.

So there's not really that much to say about CollecoVision, which is why we're doing this as a

pocket episode, as opposed to a full episode. Because I'll be damned if I could talk for an hour and

a half about CollecoVision. But I can certainly talk for 30 minutes about it, having actually owned
