brave, ambitious, innovative, messy, confusing, awkward, prophetic, and veriating catastrophe

of a video gaming masterpiece.

It's far from perfect, and age has only highlighted its contrivances and himden design.

But it's also one of the vanishingly rare, story driven games whose plot and narrative

have grown more relevant as the years go by.

Like the best sci-fi Metal Gear Solid 2's commentary on the mutable nature of information

in the digital age of corporate nation-states, even off almost like self-indulgent rambling

at the time, but in hindsight, it reads more like the playbook for everything that's

gone horribly wrong in the years since.
