| 0:00.0 | This is the Hidden Killers podcast with Tony Bruske and continuing coverage of the case against Karen Reed. |
| 0:07.5 | I think it's foreign to people because I think a lot of people don't realize that experts get paid. |
| 0:12.0 | And I'm thinking that that was kind of what a lessee was, was gleaning on, hoping that I'm really going to make this shocking for a jury who I hope doesn't know that expert witnesses |
| 0:21.8 | get paid and make it like there's something wrong with it, which I thought is kind of crazy, |
| 0:26.8 | because it feels like it also opens up a pretty big door for their relationship with ARCA, |
| 0:30.5 | which didn't seem to be too much on the up and up. Granted, they had a lower amount of, |
| 0:35.0 | you know, money that they were paid, but still, it was a good chunk of change. |

| 0:59.9 | of testimony. Remember they said they came in and came out. So you know 12 grand a day |
| 1:04.4 | add that up. I actually did a tweet on that where I outlined what I thought they |
| 1:09.3 | were getting paid, the, their airline |
| 1:11.9 | tickets, all of that, and it came out to write at that figure very close to that figure because |
| 1:17.2 | it made a lot of sense. |
| 1:19.5 | And then I guarantee, we'll see what happens on the stand, but I bet you they don't even |
| 1:24.5 | talk about this last set of experiments and this report and everything |
| 1:28.6 | that they was due May 6th, I believe, because they're going to say, oh, we don't know yet. |
| 1:33.9 | But I will say, Welcher was telling the truth. |
| 1:37.7 | When you work for a company, they handle everything. |
| 1:41.2 | You never see any of that. |
