Summary

In the inaugural episode of our resurrected show, Phill talks to one of his favorite people in the world: Samhita Mukhopadhyay. Samhita made some big changes during covid (like a lot of us). As Editor in Chief of Teen Vogue, she was at the height of her career: she had the high profile, the platform, the influence. And then? She stepped away. She and Phill dive in to betting on yourself, the lessons of grief, and rebuilding relationships over time.

and its variance.

1:26.7

But I did get to hear some really fascinating stories about people who made major or significant

1:32.4

life choices, people who were faced with really, really hard circumstances and made the most of them,

1:40.4

or dug deep into the wells of their strength and courage and found a way to

persevere or who used this time to simply just be more introspective and come to

their own realizations about themselves, or maybe who

used this time to connect more with family, or from other people who had been estranged to them.
