What's up everybody welcome back to the good life. I'm your host TV Hendrix my wife Sisson today is a great show you guys

We've got a good friend and an incredible composer today on the show Tony Anderson

Tony and I were actually connected a couple years ago because my uncle and him were super close

I had no idea but anyways, we somehow met through the grapevine on Instagram

We connected we met in LA and I fell in love with this guy how intentional he is about his creative process

And the heart behind his music. It's truly one of my favorite interviews

I think that we've ever had on the show that's coming up today on the good life stick around. It's about to get good

You guys feel like when you're listening to that song

That waves are just kind of slowly like washing over you right?

I don't know there's something about like the rhythm of that song that just it's so calming

And lately I've been listening to that song a lot like as I'm working and it just is helping me so much get deeper and deeper into the work that I'm doing that song is tenderness

with Chris Coleman and that's by Tony Anderson

That's actually one of the singles on his newest album which is actually coming out today

So if you guys haven't heard of Tony Anderson he's an incredible composer and a friend of ours

That song is called tenderness like I said I'm actually adding that as we speak to the good life playlist because I love all Tony's work

But I just feel like that that song just really speaks to me. We're having a great conversation with Tony today

And so Zon will be jumping in on the interview with us but some of the things that really surprised me about today's interview were

I think the depths of what kind of Tony went through to become who he is today and the composer that he is today

And why and I guess how he looks at creating and so some of the things that he said really impacted me because I've been really wrestling with

I'll back up when you're self employed you are your own boss right and a lot of times you question like am I doing enough?

Am I working enough? Am I working hard enough? And so there's kind of this feeling that can steal your joy, it can steal your rest
