Music For September 1st, 2020, I'm Dana Gresh. Well, Nancy, this week, Revive Our Hearts, begins its 20th year of broadcast ministry.

Whoa, how is that possible? It doesn't seem like quite yesterday,

but it doesn't seem like 19 years ago that we started airing Revive Our Hearts. And what an

incredible joy it is to look back over these years and see all the sweet fruit that the Lord

has brought forth and the changes in my life

and in the lives of our listeners and, wow, so many good things to celebrate.

Yes. In fact, there is so much to celebrate that over the course of the next year, we want to

spend some time looking back at the faithfulness of God since our beginning in 2001, and then looking ahead at what

he may have in the next 20 years, should he tarry. Well, 20 years from now, I will be in my 80s,

but Lord willing, this ministry will still be continuing to call women to freedom and fullness and

fruitfulness in Christ. And you know, the Lord encourages us to do both,

to look back and to look forward. I think about these passages in the scripture. I think about

the book of Joshua as the people were entering the promised land. And God said, put stones in

these special places that will be markers, memorial stones, to remind you of the

faithfulness of the Lord. And you see it throughout the Psalms, Psalm 40, verse 5 says, you have multiplied,

oh, Lord, my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us. None can compare with you.
