We couldn't even tap into the powers of heaven to protect ourselves if we were left on our own.

So if you believe some kind of theology that says you can keep yourself saved,

you're going to have to reexamine that verse one more time.

Because the Holy Spirit is in your life in a condition of groaning over the reality

that He is keeping you to eternal glory and it is a continual struggle.

We could praise Him for the role that He plays in sustaining the creation.
