on an acre and a half or so of land and has really been putting his knowledge to work

and I've been able to follow along with that progress and it's fascinating and it's a

huge inspiration.

I'm somebody that is just now trying to get into the world of gardening and permaculture

and understanding ecosystems more broadly and investigating the native plant life and

tree life that I'm surrounded with and learning how to work with nature as opposed to against

it, composting, harvesting rainwater, stuff like that.

Tim is a great resource, a fountain of knowledge and a great inspiration on that front.

This is a wide-ranging conversation but if you're somebody who is interested in permaculture

and ecology and actively using whatever little patch of land you might have, whether

that's a rooftop space in a city, that's a community garden or that's a backyard or something
