| 0:27.4 | I was one of the managers of our family owned Sunset Restaurant in Glenburn, Maryland. |
| 0:31.4 | Our family bought the business back in 1960. |
| 0:36.8 | I started working there in 1989, and I was there for 32 years. |
| 0:45.1 | Sunset Restaurant was a family-style restaurant that anyone can bring their folks in, young, old. |
| 0:49.5 | We had heard all this stuff going on in the news about the COVID stuff. |
| 0:55.5 | And then the day before St. Patrick's Day, we were told, shut it down. |
| 0:58.8 | 90% of our employees, we had to lay off. |
| 1:04.5 | And after that, we had to rewrite the wheel on doing carryouts and food. |
| 1:08.3 | After we opened back up, we were at 50%. We were losing $10,000 a month. |
| 1:11.4 | So we brought the accountants in, |
| 1:13.9 | and the accountant sat down with us and said, |
| 1:16.9 | guys, I'd close it up if I was you. |
| 1:19.5 | It was like someone just knocked me upside the head, |
| 1:24.0 | knowing that something that I had always had my heart and soul into, |
| 1:31.3 | all I known was the sunset all my life as a child growing up. |
| 1:36.3 | Everything was that building. |
| 1:39.3 | It was a lump in my throat. |
| 1:42.3 | I think things were locked down too much, too fast, too soon without research. |
| 1:48.3 | Now that I know what's going on, hindsight, Monday morning quarterback, it shows you that there's a lot of conspiracy going on with the governments. |
