Hey everyone, thanks for joining me. This is Heidi St. John. I am the founder and the

co-director and the half crazy mother who started the busy mom.com. And this is the busy

mom podcast, and you're here with my friend, Dorenda Wilson, who is a co-host of the broadcast

with me. And we've been talking for the last couple of days, starting about, we talked

about what happened in Paris, we've been talking about other things that have been happening

around the world that have been causing a fair amount of angst and distress and exhaustion

with those of us who are listening and feeling helpless. And I think grief wears you out.

It does. Grief wears you out. My husband lost his father last year, and we walked through

that several months of painful transition. You lost your grandson a couple of years ago.

I think in a lot of ways, we're grieving now, a change of what we're seeing, real sweeping

changes happening around the globe. And people have turned their back on the Lord, and all

of a sudden you start to feel hopeless, and that is not where God wants you. That's right.
