Summary

Did you know that in the story of the ten minas, the reward for stewarding money well is getting more responsibility? In this podcast, I teach on the principles of how the favor of God works as exemplified in Luke 19. If the Lord gives you $500 more than you need, but then you figure out how to cause the money you were given to make money—if you can create an ecosystem—the Lord says you should be over cities. The men in Luke 19 are responsible for, let’s say, $500, but his next promotion is 10 cities! My point is, oftentimes the Lord gives us a reward and we think that we’re overwhelmed. Often the challenge is, we complain about the reward, not realizing that the responsibility is the reward. We have the privilege of being responsible for feeding more people, having the responsibility for more cities, etc. The reason I think that this is really profound right now is that I feel the Lord saying, we need to be the ones to give people something to eat like the story of feeding the 5,000. Many look at the world and are asking the Lord to take care of all of the issues and problems and wanting Him to get rid of them. But I feel like the Lord is saying, “You give them something to eat.” I believe that in darkness, it is our time to rise. The reality is, we’re about to do the great exchange—beauty for ashes, joy for mourning. As we are rising, we are going to get a reward, and that reward is more responsibility. And if we aren’t careful we will cross the street thinking we don’t have what it takes. But the Lord wants to co-labor with us. 0:43.4	like 20 or 30 and they were they were ministering to this man who had just come out of a bar who I think
0:50.4	was not saved a few of them and they were praying for him and they got this word that the Lord's
0:55.6	going to bless him like right now and the emphasis was like right now and so you know the guy was
1:00.7	kind of like not believing and they're like oh no Lord's going to bless you right now like not
1:06.4	tomorrow not the next day not a year from now right now and as they said that a black escalator
1:13.1	drove around the corner and rolled down their window and threw a wad of cash at the guy like a big
1:18.9	wad a large wad of cash piti him right in the face and the guy goes what just happened to me
1:26.4	and they're you know it went everywhere so they're all picking it up and and there's a bunch of
1:30.2	people picking it up I I assume it's mostly our students they're picking it up and they give it to
1:34.6	him and he goes what's going on and they said we told you Lord wants to bless you right now like
1:40.3	right now and as they're saying right now again the escalator drives around again
1:45.6	rolls down the window and throws another bunch of cash hits the guy in the chest this time
1:51.7	money goes everywhere and this part of the story is a little unclear to me quite how it happened
1:57.2	but I think some of the money blew down the street and and the guys like what's going on with me
