All right. Well, welcome to SoTriology 101. We are having a live discussion. I've got a couple of guys already joined in. We put out an invite to several of others there on the Facebook group who could join in as we're going through this. And appreciate Clayton and John jumping on with us. We're going to be responding to an article by James Anderson from the Journal of the Reform Theological Society.

I think it's the name of it, something of that nature.

And we're going to read him in his own words, and then we're going to just kind of pause and respond to some of the things that he's saying.

He's critiquing John Lennox's book

to believe. It's a book that I have highly recommended because I think he does a really good job.

He's one of the few really well-known apologetic scholars that holds to a perspective that's very

similar to mine with regard to his rejection of the concept of total

inability. His maintaining of eternal security are both distinctives that I hold to as a traditionalist

or a provisionist that John Lennox defends as well in this book. And so I appreciate his work.

There's a few things I would have probably taken a different approach on, which we may even get into in this review.

But for the most part, I think he does a really fair job in his evaluation of Calvinism, which he refers to as theistic determinism.

And we'll go through some of that as we go through this review.
