Good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study tonight. On Thursday nights, we're going through the Bible and currently are in the book of Isaiah.

And tonight, Lord willing, will have two chapters that will finish chapters 36 and 37.

And also with the conclusion of our Bible study tonight, we're going to partate together of

communion, so you might want to get the elements ready at this time so you can partake

with us at the end. So, why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our Bible study tonight,

if you would please join with me.

Loving Heavenly Father, we need for you at this time to, especially with everything that is happening and just even the events of today, we really need for you to settle our hearts.

We've got a lot of things on our mind, a lot of things on our plates, a lot of things clamoring for our attention.

And Lord, tonight we just want to put all of that aside so that we can give you our undivided attention,

especially tonight because of what's here in these two chapters, Lord.

Lord, we need for you to minister to us, to calm us, to settle us, and to minister to us as only you can and as you always do.

You're always so faithful to.

So, Lord, bless our time, we pray.

In Jesus' name, amen and amen all right so again really looking

forward to tonight's study we have before us one of the most intriguing accounts

in all of scripture I know I say that about all of scripture but this one in

particular for different

reasons, but specifically as it relates to one responding to a threat or an email, or a letter,

or a memo, or a mandate.

I'll leave it right there.

So, as the Lord would have it, no coincidence, no such thing.

Wherever you're at in your life, that's where you're at in God's word. Because God's words alive and active and sharp,
