Hello, it's me. I've thought about us for a long, long time.

Well, we've had some comments lately on the Lutheran Church, Missouri Senate going woke.

Some feedback from our recent interview on decision theology and a story about

a person's commitment to Lutheran schools. Welcome back to Issues et cetera. I'm Todd Wilkins.

Thanks for tuning us in live on this Tuesday afternoon, the 15th of April. We'll be going through

the issues et cetera comment line, getting to as many of those as we can.

Then Dr. Peter Scare joins us to respond to New York Times op-ed titled,

Palm Sunday was a protest, not a procession.

Let's begin with the listener who wants to retract a previous comment.

I just wanted to say that you thoroughly rebuked and did a great job defending the LCMS

against the charge of wokeness. You know, I wish you guys would have just let off with a defense

that strong from the get-go. I mean, you systematically humiliated me and carefully and

methodically laid out, you know, in a very assuring way that the church

body is indeed possibly avoiding wokeness for now. And so I just wanted to say I acknowledge

when I have lost, and thank you so much. I appreciate the information. God bless.

Certainly our goal is not to humiliate you, but simply to respond to the contention.
