We always need to keep an historical perspective.

It's very easy to forget, even over the course of less than 20 years, that things have been this way in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod for a long, long time.

Dawn. Don writes, the Trump Justice Department has released a memo saying that state should not

provide money so that people with disabilities can live at home.

Instead, they should be put in for-profit institutions. People with disabilities can live long and

happy lives at home with the right assistance. People who cannot afford this will be forced into

institutions. This is diabolical. Okay, let's just respond to the facts on that one

before you go on to the rest, because the rest of it is not so much related to it. There was a memo

issued by the Justice Department, and it does not say that states should not fund at home care for people who have disabilities.
