Summary

When I wrote my book, What Drives You, I initially impressed myself with the width and depth of my knowledge, drawing on the messages and resources of the 250 leaders in human development I’d had on this show. This is my 1500th episode. I’d gotten exposed to more incredible information that most will in 5 lifetimes. Then it also dawned on me that with so many of the great messages and insights…I hadn’t done anything with them. It was wisdom I hadn’t implemented. I hadn’t changed. Working with a client the other day I was referencing a book I was rereading, seeing my notes from a couple years ago, and told her, “I see my notes, and the message obviously resonated with me, but I didn’t integrate it into my life. that I had in my head, or at least knowledge, and I hadn't implemented it. I hadn't changed

anything. Working with a client the other day, I was referencing

0:54.8

a book I was rereading, seeing my notes in the margins from a couple years ago. And I told her,

1:00.0

you know, I see my notes here and the message obviously resonated with me, but I didn't

1:04.7

integrate it into my life. Let's talk about this for a moment. When I'm not having conversations like this about human potential,

1:12.8

I'm working directly with people on their human potential,

especially their purpose.

And as this show is focused on integration.

resonate versus integrate, considering what actually changes us. Let's see what we can learn for

ourselves today. Despite my incredible advertising voice, it doesn't sell B2B. And advertising on the

wrong platform doesn't sell B2B either.
