Good morning. Thanks for listening in today.

I have kind of mixed emotions about today's content.

On the one hand, I'm really excited

to share it with you. It's been impactful for me, and it's had real effects in terms of how I

process things like entertainment or what my kids are doing. But on the other hand, it's also really,

really scary because the efforts of the world to assimilate into Christians' lives and to pull us into the flow of our

culture is very strong and has been wildly successful. So we will need to begin by demonstrating

how that works, and then we can talk about if our eyes are focused on Jesus, what is the right

way for a Christian to handle a world that is just

increasingly getting dark and is getting really, really good at bringing others into the darkness.

I want to quickly note that this also became a sermon at the Lindale Church of Christ,

which you can follow easily at YouTube, and it came out yesterday. I think it's more fit to be

presented in a podcast because there's a

lot of talking about the way things are going in our time and culture. However, we are called

by God to use the word of God to reshape how we think and live. So in the sermon, we get to really
