I hear really at the bottom of the totem pole.

If I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons. Modern parenting has taken what is a gift, which are children,

they're a blessing, they're a heritage from the Lord, and turned them into a nightmare. Modern

parenting has created children that are now seen as a burden. We've changed the purpose of

society from protecting innocent life to eliminating

suffering. And if eliminating suffering becomes the prime purpose, that quickly mutates into eliminating

the sufferer. A dead church is not one that's small. It is the void of the word in the

sacraments. A dead church is one in which Christ is not present.

Confessional Lutheran missionary campus pastors, love issues, etc.

The temptation to compromise is very strong.

We have to recognize that.

How many times have you seen it happen where a Christian friend or a fellow member of the church is pretty adamant about maintaining scripture's teaching about human sexuality?

And then they discover that one of their

children is gay or one of their friends' children is gay, and they begin to waffle on the subject.

How do we resist that temptation?
