Summary

Caitlin and Charlotte discuss the latest episode of Star Wars Resistance, “The Engineer.” S2E5. Recording together in real life (not over the web!) in a coworking space in Boston, so please excuse some more ~earthy~ audio than we usually have on the show.   http://www.twitter.com/skytalkerspod http://facebook.com/skytalkerspod https://www.instagram.com/skytalkerspodcast http://www.twitter.com/crerrity http://www.twitter.com/caitlinplesher http://skytalkers.com https://www.patreon.com/skytalkers Learn more about your ad choices. Here are your host, Charlotte and Caitlin.

0:15.6

Hello and welcome to Sky Talkers.

0:17.5

I'm your host, Charlotte.

0:18.4

Hey, everyone.

0:19.0

I'm your other host, Caitlin, and welcome to this week's very special resistance episode where Charlotte and I are together. I came to

0:26.4

Boston for the weekend and we've had a lot of fun. We've eaten so much food, like a ridiculous

0:32.8

amount of food. But we are here today to record resistance and just as a note, we are recording in like a co-working space right now.

0:42.0

So the auto quality is probably going to be a little different than what you're used to.

0:45.7

But we figured we don't get to record that often.

0:48.6

So together, we record often.

0:51.0

Each day.

0:51.4

Yeah, we record.

0:52.1

We record plenty.

0:53.5

But together, IRL. So we wanted to try out something new. And yeah, so you might hear some other noises and things like that. So just to note on where we are. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's very exciting that we're together. We got to watch the Resistance episode together, which I think it's only happened once, once, yeah. Yeah, so again, just we're in a co-working space because Caitlin and I both, and a lot of people know this, Caitlin and I both record in our closets. Like, if you could do any, like, like, like, like, like, podcast, podcast studios in your home and, like, starting a podcast and all this kind of stuff, they tell you that, like, you should record in your closet because the acoustics are so good and because of that are both our

closets are like quite small so that's why we're in a co-working space because we both can't

1:36.9

fit in charlotte's closet yes that's that's the takeaway and we've we've I mean I feel like we've recorded in strange places. We have

1:46.0

recorded in your apartment before when I've been up here, but, um, honestly, we wanted to, like,

1:50.4

get out of the house and go do some stuff. And, uh, it seemed like a fun idea, like co-working,

1:56.0

co-podcasting. What's not to love? Co-everything. Co-everything. Co-watching resistance. Yeah. So that's what we are doing this week. We will be back to normal for the next time. But we are really excited to talk about this episode. I know last week's episode was not our favorite. And this week was a million times better.

2:18.0

Oh my God, it was so much better.

2:19.0

So much better. In the midway through the episode, I was like, this is such an improvement. It feels, I guess we'll get into this, but it really does feel like a totally different show. Yeah. No, it 100%. In comparison to last week. Yeah, it was, it was great. I really liked this episode. I think I would have loved it as much as I did,
