Hello and welcome to episode number 1,229 of the Potter's cast.

Welcome to the show. I have tried really hard to put together an intro

for this particular episode and i feel like i'm just so inadequate to do so we've got melissa of

m w y pottery coming on the show and today's episode is called Resistance Art. She has asked

me not to share her last name because there is concern of retaliation, and there's concern that it

could impact her place of work.

And so out of respect for that, I have agreed with Melissa.

In fact, I think this is the first time we've ever done anything like this,

where we've just opted out of sharing someone's last name.

We just never have.

Of course, we've never been asked not to.

So this is kind of a little bit of a break, normal, but I'm totally

good with it. The reason why I've had such a hard time putting this intro together is because I

really feel inadequate in anything that I say at this point, every time I've recorded it

anyhow, it felt very inauthentic.

And I felt like it's something that I'm not experienced in or knowledgeable about.

And that's why I'm really good at asking questions and talking to people about things,
