0:13.4	in with a friend Yosef who is in Israel and is a good friend, a good guy and a trusted
0:20.3	voice in my life. Yosef, welcome to the Dream Big Podcast.
0:24.8	Thanks for having me on, Bob. Hey, I know this is a really crazy time. I don't know what
0:31.9	things are appropriate for you to talk about in terms of location, all that. But I know you're
0:38.4	in one of the areas that is creating. It's got the world's attention right now, not just in the
0:44.7	country of Israel, but then specifically where you're at. Tell us a little bit about your
0:50.2	circumstance there as people start to understand who you are. Yeah, sure. I live, my name's Yosef,
0:58.7	I live in the north of Israel on the Golan Heights near the Syrian border, not far from the Lebanese
1:04.4	border. Me and my wife and my three little kids live here and yeah, it's a it's an area where,
1:12.9	as we said, it's close to the borders. Me and my wife always had a heart. We met serving Syrian
1:18.6	refugees in Turkey back during the Civil War. And so when I invited her to come start a family
1:26.1	with me back in Israel, my heart was always too settled somewhere close to the borders.
1:32.7	Sorry about that. Just got a call. I'm going to have to leave my calls on just because I'm
1:36.9	head of security team. I'm head of emergency services in my community here. So if all hell breaks
1:44.9	loose on us in the north, I got to be I got to be available. Yeah, that's actually the reason
1:50.8	that I wanted people to hear from you, but particularly in the Golan that that there are people
1:59.2	who love God, love their country, have a vision for the country and then you're the guy in your
2:07.1	community that's helping in anticipation of a circumstance like that. Tell us a little bit about
2:13.1	what that looks like for you in your life these days. So yeah, I volunteer as head of the
2:18.0	emergency services. It's it's I was telling it to a friend the other day because people from
2:23.9	abroad were asking and and I was explaining it to him and he was like, oh, it's kind of like a church.
