And it's also a thing where it's like as a game fan, I'm like, I want this movie to show people like you that haven't played the games why I like this franchise so much, right?

To be like, oh yeah, like look at that. And unfortunately, I think that's where my grief from this movie comes is.

I don't, nothing in this movie, I feel like I can show someone to help them understand why I love this franchise.

Without, unless I just make them play the game.

Yeah, I don't think that this film is going to draw people who aren't gamers back to the game franchise.

If anything, this feels like it's a very reverent film.

Like, there were a lot of times where I thought, I think I'm just missing something

because I don't understand what it's referencing, because it is so clearly referencing a shit ton

of things.

It very much felt like I was watching

Easter egg the movie, but not understanding the references. So on one hand, it mostly works

as a okay-ish action film. Like, I didn't hate it. It's not like I never want to watch it

again. It just felt like it was okay. You know,

like I walked out of it and thought, okay, well, that wasn't the worst time I've ever spent

at the movies. But I'm also not rushing it to tell people, hey, you've got to go see this

film because it's so fun. Well, that's the thing with the Easter eggs, hey, you don't get the joke about the snake and the shark.

Okay, that's an Easter egg, but that joke isn't like, it's okay if you don't get it.
