When Brian Flores got fired a couple of weeks ago, that was the surprise. That was the shocker. That was the eyebrow razor and the reason that was given publicly by Stephen Ross the owner.

And I'm paraphrasing here was essentially there were communication problems earlier on the show.

get a sit and without not respond to the Brian Flores lawsuit claiming that Stephen Ross offered him $100,000 for every loss that the coach would endeavor in the first year.

He took the job and Stephen Ross vehemently denied that and in the lawsuit that was filed two days ago as well talking about the Rooney rule being a sham.

Now he was just a ticked box as opposed to a coach given a fair shake in an interview process.

Because the color of his skin would allow them to satisfy a rule allowing in the hire whoever they wanted which you know a team can hire whoever they want but the Rooney rule means give this guy a shot maybe just maybe he can also be a candidate down the line.

But at least you giving him a shot here and he offered two items up for evidence one of them being Bill Bella checks texts.

That was sent to him mistakenly congratulating him on the job with the giants and it appears Bella check had misread the text he had received.

From somebody saying that it was going to be Brian Dable's job and he thought I guess it said Brian Flores and he texted him congratulations before Flores was even taking the meeting he told CBS and ESPN yesterday this was on a Monday and he received the text on a Monday and he was interviewing on a Thursday.

So three days later he takes the takes the interview anyway because he figures this is my best shot for job maybe convince him maybe Bella checks wrong or whatever and then as we all know Dable gets the job and that's why the giants are defendant in the lawsuit.

Another team that's not a defendant in the lawsuit but was mentioned as a team that he felt was having him in for an interview just to check a box and not really.

As an opportunity to be a candidate we all know the giants did send out a statement saying that he was the candidate there and real candidate all the way to the 11th hour before they chose Dable and thus refuting what he said in the lawsuit.
