We are in a festive mood. We're going to have a great time talking football with you. Get you fully lined up for a massive NFL Sunday and the national semifinals coming up later today in college football.

In fact, let's make it official. Let me lean over hit this button. The countdown to kick off his own true way for the first of two national semifinals coming up at 330 Eastern Cincinnati and Alabama.

Kirk Cousins not going to play in the Sunday night game, which is hugely important for the seven and eight Vikings against the 12 and three Packers.

So no Kirk Cousins, he's on the COVID reserve list and Schaefter put parenthetically after he had the breaking news and the second sentence of his tweet as an unvaccinated player, dot, dot, cousins in eligible to play.

So here we are again, and this is not about my work schedule throughout the holidays, but I was on the air in this time slot on Tuesday, when the Carson Wentz news broke.

And that story evolved over the course of a handful of hours, we went from the general consensus when we got the news that went was on that same COVID reserve list that cousins has landed on today.
