The news of the day was that there was no news at the trade deadline, not even one of these scrubby sort of special teams linebackers that Bill likes to trade for, you know, from time to time, not even one of those moves, which is, I think, kind of disappointing. You know, I didn't need a receiver, which a lot of people talked about. I must be one of the few that think they're okay there. And when I say, okay, I don't mean like great, but just okay, they have enough. But there were a couple needs on defense that I think you could just sort of plug a guy in. And when I saw Alex Barth on 985 the SportsUp.com throw up some trade possibilities, guys like Logan Ryan or Dron Harmon, who are still floating around the league, you say there might be a match there. I don't know if they need a safety, so Harmon maybe not. But Logan Ryan, if he's got a heartbeat, might even give me an upgrade from what you have right here. I don't know if he, he obviously didn't move. There was only one corner that moved to Morrie that corner? Yeah. So the Broncos ended up sending rookie corner, Carrie Vincent, Jr. to Philadelphia for a sixth rounder next year. So like that's one. Yeah, the Eagles are three and five. You're on. What are you making deals for? You stink. You need some depth there. Like, that's a move. The Patriot should have made. I mean, do we know about Carrie Vincent Jr.? God no. Never heard of them. But in terms of some depth there, you could have done something like that. So to me, that's a little disappointing. Yeah, that's the kind of deal I thought they would make. I wasn't expecting a blockbuster, but I thought if they did make a deal, it would be for a depth piece at lineback or a corner. Badaid said, you know, combo defensive end who can play the run in the past that they were looking for. The Patriots were something there, Zippo. I mean, they even made a move last year like that with that suck team. With that, they brought in Isaiah Ford from Miami. Yes, that's right. All right. That's right. So a little disappointing on that front, but overall, I think the arrow remains pointed up on the Patriots at this time, which is the first time in a while. I think we've said that. The Bader did, though, like he's not one of these guys that says they're off and running. You know, look out for the freight train that is the New England Patriots. He said if they don't have, if they don't come with some edge in this game against Carolina, they can lose this game to Carolina easily. And, you know, I would co-sign on that. Another takeaway from Bardard, and we, you know, we like to replay a cut or two, you know, when he's in here, was just the assessment of Mack Jones. And, you know, I put it to him simply. Bill had talked about and everyone knows that the passing game had a rough day. You know, it was maybe the roughest day. The passing game had had the entire year or the worst it's looked. You know, that's stretched in the first half where they just couldn't throw it in the ocean, look kind of rough. So, you know, I asked Greg point blank, was that the protection in the offensive line, which has been the case at times this year? Was it the receiving core, which has definitely been the case at times this year? Or was it your quarterback was to blame? And he said it was the quarterback. Here's Greg. Mack Jones had an off day. And that's not to rip Mac Jones. Tom Brady

3:42.9

has had days like this. Mac Jones actually, there was one play where he looked like Brady,

3:48.7

where Brady gets sped up, seeing Ghost a little bit, and he starts bobbing his head up and down

3:53.7

in the pocket. Mac Jones had a couple of reps like that on Sunday. He just, Mac Jones kind of got a little bit out of sorts. He sort of got a little bit outside of his body. He needed to calm the hell down, which I think they did at half time. He was getting a little, you know, I don't know how to describe it, a little, a little, you know, he started getting the Peyton Manning face a little bit out there

4:16.2

towards the end of the first half and you're like, oh, God, no.

4:18.8

Not this guy, not your quarterback.
