You know, one of the most crazy moments for me this year, there have been some phenomenal

moments in 2017 already.

But one of them, for me, was passion 2017, the Georgia dome, on the morning session where

we were going to have a live link to the International Space Station.

See, that's what happened at 9.30.

Don't trouble me with silence when we start talking about the Space Station because

that will only prompt me to want to go into a long, boring history of why it's amazing

that there is a module with human beings in it circling planet Earth at 17,000 miles

an hour right now.

230 miles above the Earth's atmosphere in space, real people right now.

And we were going to have the opportunity to link up with our friend Shane Kimbrough,

who was commanding Expedition 50 at that time.

Shane came home two Mondays ago safely back on planet Earth and we're so glad for the

six months he lived in space doing all sorts of incredible things to help benefit humanity.

And in this morning session, we were going to have a surprise live link to him.

Obviously, you don't announce this because it could go wrong a lot of different ways

and you want it to happen.

So you don't tell people you're going to do it and then have the Space Station go out of

radio connectivity or whatever.

And so we did a test about an hour before we were supposed to do the link.

So some other things were happening in the Georgia Dome but they pulled me over to monitor

the world.
