Summary

I wanted to share my reset routine while being here in Disney World, and talk through how I stop giving up on myself when motivation fades. This video is less about starting over and more about building habits that actually stick in real life. I’m sharing 10 realistic tips for staying consistent, keeping promises to yourself, and creating lasting change without burnout. If you’re trying to stick to your goals this year and want a routine that feels supportive instead of overwhelming, I hope this helps

The Every January, we start again. We set goals, we make promises and we tell ourselves, this time it's

going to be different. But if we're being honest, how many times have you done that? I mean,

0:43.0

I've done it a lot. And I'm noticing that this year, I don't want to be the person by mid-January

0:47.9

that I've already given up. I am discouraged and I'm frustrated. And I just, I don't want that to happen this year.

So I want you to know that if you do tend to do this year after year and you've maybe already given up by this point in the month on any New Year's resolutions that you've said, it's not because you're lazy, it's not because you don't want to change.

It's because the way that we're trying to change is not built to last. So it's not a motivation problem. It's a sustainability

problem. What happens is we try to become this entirely new person overnight. We're overloaded

1:20.9

with rules and routines and pressure and expectations and then whenever it all collapses,

1:25.2

which inevitably it will, we blame ourselves. But what if nothing was wrong with you? It wasn't your fault to begin with.

1:31.3

What if you don't need another reset or another all or nothing plan or another new year, new me, January restart?

1:38.3

What if you just needed a way of living that fits your actual life?

1:41.3

And that's what this is about. I wanted to go through what I'm doing,

1:45.4

where I've been, check in with you guys and just a little bit of magic and just sharing how

1:51.2

it's not starting over, it's not forcing discipline, it's building a life that you don't need to

1:57.2

feel like you keep having to escape from. So before I walk you through these 10 shifts that I'm going to go through, I figured I would

2:04.4

give you a little life update and just share where I'm at personally right now and just sharing

2:09.6

what I plan on doing from this mid-January point headed into February and Valentine's Day and

2:16.5

all of that and how my hope is to completely overhaul everything

2:20.3

without burning out and doing it the right way to create lasting change throughout the entire year.

2:27.3

Oh my gosh, it's been a minute and I'm not going to lie, this feels kind of weird because we came back with a voiceover video and there was no way that I was going to do a whole video with a voiceover again. I needed to talk and chat and just share all of the things. So I feel like I have so much to say. And today I think is going to be a similar vibe to the last

video, which by the way, I was floored at the response that you guys poured in with the comments
