Summer of Soul is both a tribute to the artist and just as importantly, their audience,

which is what makes it not just a great concert film, but a great documentary period. That

is so well-signed by David Feier, Film Critic for the Rolling Stone, talking about summer

far as the new movies are concerned. I'm diving into documentaries. Now, at the Oscar

nominations around, I want to see everything that's been nominated. I've got to work through

these documentaries. I've of course seen Flea, which is a triple nominee, but I was reading

all the advanced hype and some of the prognostications on Gold Derby. Summer of Soul, the favorite to
