The unmerited favor and grace we have from God are clear in application but often elusive

in their definition.

Paul David Tripp in his book New Morning Murseys says it this way,

grace rescues us from our spiritual blindness.

Grace gives us the faith to be utterly assured of what we cannot see but grace does so much

more.

It connects us to the invisible one and an eternal love relationship that fills us with joy

we have never known before and gives us a rest of heart that we would have thought

impossible.

But if you ever felt like your grip is slipping and you require the tighter grip of God's grace,

well I pray this meditation from 1st John chapter 2 will help you rediscover the invisible.

Believe in what you cannot experience with your physical senses and help you look beyond

the physical world for your comfort.

So to begin this time of biblical meditation, find a place to be comfortable, alone, quiet

and still, settle deeper into wherever you are, come aware of your breathing.

Then close your eyes and expect to encounter the grace of the Father and His Son and

the Holy Spirit present in and around you.
