It's Friday, January 19th, and this is Revive Our Hearts with Nancy Lee DeMoss.

All this week, we've heard the story of Angie. Her home growing up was filled with violence and drug abuse,

and she left home at a young age and became pregnant while still a teenager.

We heard how a visit to a pregnancy care center saved Angie's son and introduced her

to Christ. Let's join Nancy speaking at a fundraiser for that same pregnancy care center that had

such an effect on Angie. I don't know if you got to see a couple nights ago that spectacular display of the northern lights.

I was on my way. I'd just flown in from Houston, landed in the South Bend Airport late the other night.

And as we were driving, I said, what are those lights in the sky?

I mean, it was close to midnight, and the sky was so bright.

I was with a couple of friends, and we actually ended up getting out of the car, parking the sky was so bright. I was with a couple of friends and we actually

ended up getting out of the car, parking the car by the side of the road and just looking up at this

extraordinary display of the glory of God. And that picture came to mind today as I was thinking

about the ministry, the pregnancy care center, and how we live in a world

that is so dark, so filled with selfishness and violence and terror.

And in the midst of that dark world, God has raised up people and ministries like those

associated with the pregnancy care center.

And their demonstration of compassion and mercy shines like those northern lights as a display

of the glory of God in our community and in this world.
