I'm your host, Cory Muscara, and in today's episode we're going to talk about the power

of commitment, or to come on that in a moment, first, let settle in together with the sound

of the bells.

Okay, so we'll start this session with a poem or a passage by Gertah, and it's titled

Uncommitment.

Until one is committed, there is always hesitancy, the chance to draw back.

Always in effectiveness, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless

ideas and splendid plans.

The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help that would never otherwise have occurred.

A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising to one's favor all manner of unforeseen

accidents and meetings, and material assistance which no person could have dreamed would

come their way.

Whatever you can do or dream, you can begin it.

Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.

Now this is one of those topics that is tough to teach, because it's pointing to something

that, at least Gertah would argue, is true, the power of commitment, but commitment is

hard to convince ourselves of.

A lot of times we have to go back and forth and waver and be confused and be unsure, and

then there is a feeling of readiness for commitment and we strike, and then things seem to fall

...
