Hey, wonderfuls. Welcome to this re-release episode of the dynamic, wonderful, intelligent, funny, terrific Iya Cash. I wanted to reshare this. You know, she's just catapulted even to higher echelons of stardom since I had the incredible pleasure of working with her for five years on You're the Worst, including

getting this The Boys' spinoff that we're going to be enjoying her in. So this felt like a great

time to revisit her wonderfulness. And of course, I'm in very much the intense time of

sketch fest, so it can't surprise anyone that we're doing a

re-released this week I want to thank Christian and Julian for all their work as

always and for those of you who may listen to this before Thanksgiving if you do

observe such a thing or something around that time that is next week. So I hope that you have a moment to

feel gratitude in this chaotic world of ours. And enjoy this episode with Aya. I was going to say I was going to say I was going to say I I just wanted to say I'm just going to start recording,

is that you can't always tell from high school pictures, especially if someone is, like,

it's just a senior picture.

Like, I feel if you looked at my senior picture, you wouldn't get a sense of what my

personality was because it was sort of, oh, I guess I should wear this blue sweater because

it's bland. And I, you know, at that point, I think I was less interested in making a huge statement.

But when you sent me your teenage picture, I couldn't have been less surprised. And I also was like,

oh my God, we would have been friends. There's no question in my mind that

we would have been friends. But how am I right or am I super wrong based on the zero you know

about me being a teenager? Yeah, I was about to say I need more information in order to decide.

Well, these guys know. Did you dye your hair black? I never dyed my hair black, but I did

dye it like blue and kind of orange. Yeah. Because I had light colored hair, I but I did die at like blue and kind of orange.

Because I had light colored hair, I was always afraid to go super black.

And I had like the best friend who sort of was the darker one.

Like she had very pale skin and her hair is brown.
