Summary

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Sharon shares her life full of trauma. Sharon experienced two traumatic life-altering events by the age of 9. The after effects of these events reverberated throughout her life. Sharon became extremely self-sacrificing, felt that she didn't matter, and feared abandonment. In both of her abusive relationships, Sharon was very open about her childhood trauma, and both partners seemed to care about it at first, only to use it against her later. It's a story of child sexual abuse, codependency, trauma bonds, infidelity, abandonment, cognitive dissonance, lies, dissociation, manipulation, triangulation, suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, put downs, sarcasm, guilt, blame shifting, and PTSD. *** CONTENT WARNING - Graphic descriptions of child sexual abuse, suicidal ideation, and suicide attempts. *** If you want to be a guest on our survivor story podcast, please click here or send us an email at narcissistapocalypse@gmail.com PODCAST RECOMMENDATIONS: Perfect Prey With Dr. Christine Cocchiola | Click Here The Covert Narcissism Podcast | Click Here Bitch is a Bad Word | Click Here When Dating Hurts Podcast | Click Here If you or someone you know are experiencing abuse, you are not alone. DomesticShelters.org offers an extensive library of articles and resources that can help you make sense of what you're experiencing, connect you with local resources and find ways to heal and move forward. Visit www.domesticshelters.org to access this free resource.  If you need help moving due to domestic violence, Shelter Movers may be able to help you.
