All right. There is a lot going on in the world. There's a lot going on in this country.

We still have, you know, military deployed in our nation's cities. We have Donald Trump making noises every day that sound more and more like a dictator. He has literally now started tearing down parts of the White House, big chunks of the White House. And I know you've been at the forefront of that, that, you know, accountability measure. So I want to start

there because in some ways that is like the metaphor, you know, the tearing down the White House is kind

of the larger metaphor for I think what will be a lot of our discussion. It is a very apt metaphor,

Mark. That's exactly the right word. And I will tell you just at the outset, I have been really surprised by

how tearing down the East Wing of the White House has really struck a nerve. Going back to

Connecticut, as I do every weekend talking to people, I thought, well, you know, it's an inside-the-beltway story.

All of us who drive by the White House frequently or who have been in it or who go through the East Wing to get to ceremonies, we care about it, but the rest of the country, not so much.
