Welcome to TYT. I'm your host, Anika Asperian, Brooke Thomas and Francesca Fure and

Teeny joined me. Hey, it's been a crazy day. It's been a crazy day under the Trump

administration nonstop and makes me want to rip my hair out. But we have a great show ahead for you.

Yes, we do know that the House was supposed to vote on condemning Trump's racism.

But things got a little derailed. We'll have that story for you when we come back from our first

break. So that's something you can look forward to later in the show. And we're also going to

discuss the so-called squad and the press conference that they held yesterday.

And a lot of that is a lot of the focus on that story is about how they condemn Trump's racism.

But they also used it as an opportunity to talk about their policy goals, which I thought was

pretty savvy. We're going to discuss that as well. But first, I just want to give you a few notes

about our partners and what we have planned coming up. The Detroit rally is going to happen.

TYT is holding a Detroit rally. It's part of our revolutionary or revolution rally series.

So John Eiterola and Jank Eugre will be there. It'll take place on July 30th.

And it'll take place in Detroit, Michigan near the Fox Theater. The specific location is not

announced yet. But I will announce it as soon as we figure out where it will be. And what we want

to do is show grassroots support for progressive issues as highlighted by the progressive economic
