and plan parenthood and people like me were very clear that our bodies are our own

and it doesn't matter if the Supreme Court has taken away the federal constitutional right to an

abortion we're going to keep fighting for control over our own body and our own lives and our

own future. Like how we are. Yeah right.

cannon fodder in the culture wars. With that in mind, today's podcast is a candid conversation with

Alexis McGill Johnson, the president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of America and the Planned

Parenthood Action Fund, someone who is deep in the fight for reproductive rights and freedom in America.

Despite what we're told by the religious right, Planned Parenthood is not some heathen abortion

factory but actually provides vital healthcare services to 2.4 million people each year through

more than 600 healthcare centers across the country. Along with our work at Planned Parenthood,

Alexis McGill Johnson is an American academic, a social justice advocate, the executive director

and co-founder of the Perception Institute, an anti-biased research group, and a long time champion
