We're in the first few days of our full month of crying out to the Lord.

And our focus has been on praying for ourselves and praying for our families.

Cry out is a focus we're implementing because we believe in the importance of faithfully seeking God and trusting him to respond.

Emily Jensen is here to lead us in prayer today.

Heavenly Father, O the depths of your riches and wisdom and knowledge, how unsearchable are your

judgments and how unscruitable are your ways. We praise you today because even as we sit in the car,

jog along the trail, walk through

the house or dip our hands into soapy sink water, you, Lord, have appointed this life

and this work for us.

You placed each and every woman listening in a specific time and place, family and community.

You placed us exactly where we are today because you know all

things, and this is what you deemed best for us in Christ and for your glory. We praise you. But God,

as we serve you in the place where we are today, many of us are weary. We are tired of laying down our comforts and our schedules.

Some might literally be tired from getting up in the night to care for another person,

or tired from waking up extra early to meet with you.

O Lord, have mercy on us in our tired state and keep us from grumbling and complaining

for forgetting your hand and

wisdom and giving us the tasks on our to-do list, the people in our home, and all of the

needs around us. Instead, help us today to bring you our complaints, our frustrations, our

exhaustion, and our worry. Wherever we are, might we not let another moment pass without

hoping and trusting fully in you, in your love, in your ability to provide, and in your goodness

toward us. We cast all of our cares on you, Lord, because you care for us. We humble ourselves before you as Christ humbled himself
