What you know, Alibyers, got some news in the Nancy Guthrie case.

Just this evening, Michael Ruiz and Brian Enton put on X that a source with knowledge of the investigation just confirmed that the two photos that have been released showing the suspect on Nancy Guthrie's porch as well as standing in the yard were taken on two separate days. I've got those up on the

screen now. The one where the person is standing in the yard, he doesn't have a backpack on. So this is

new information. So clearly, the suspect seems to have visited Nancy's house before he actually

made entry and abducted her. But here's the kicker. And you know, when things get put

out there, it doesn't take Sheriff Nanos long to come out and dispute things. He told Fox News.

The information that it occurred on a different day did not come from the FBI or the Pima County Sheriff's

Department. So a little conflicting stuff there, but I believe Michael Ruiz and Brian Enten.

And as I was editing this just a few moments ago,

the Pima County Sheriff's Department says reports that the Guthrie Nest camera

shows the same person on different days is purely speculative.

We are aware that doorbell images released earlier in the investigation

depict a suspect in different stages of attire, including with and without a backpack. There is no date

or timestamp associated with these images. Therefore, any suggestion that the photographs were

taken on different days is purely speculative.

This remains an active and ongoing criminal investigation. As with any investigation,

conclusions will be guided by verifiable evidence and established facts. Speculation, without factual

support, does not advance the investigative process.

Oh, boy, y'all, I swear, hot mess.

And all I can say is poor Nancy Guthrie and her family for having to sit back while there is

clearly still chaos behind the scenes with that sheriff.
