I'm really happy today to have Nate Foy with us, one of our best reporters, for a reporter's notebook, which is basically an inside

story look at who Nate is and also what he's working on right now. So hi, Nate.

Hey, Martha. Thank you very much for having me. It's great to have you here. You know,

I want to talk to you about the Trump case that you're covering in New York City this week,

but I always like to start these inside behind-the- scenes stories, the untold story, as we call it,

talking a little bit about you. So for viewers who love watching you on TV, give them just a little

sense of where you're from, you know, what kind of family you grew up in, where you went to

college, how you got into this business. Just give us a little inside luck.

Okay, so I'm one of four boys.

I grew up in Westboro, Massachusetts, which is about 45 minutes west of Boston.

And I always wanted to be a broadcaster.

Originally, the goal was sports broadcasting, and I used to watch Sports Center over and over and over every morning

and by the third time around. I'm sure. I'm sure. Patriots, yep, Red Sox, all Boston teams.
