Welcome, everybody. Welcome everybody to this new edition of The Untold Story podcast with Martha McCallum. Grateful to have all of you listening to us today and really grateful to my friend

and elections co-anchor Brett Baer for joining us today as well. Hi, Brett.

Hey, Martha. Thanks for having me. So, you know, it's great to have you. And no surprise to

anybody at home that Brett has a very long history of writing really interesting and insightful

books about our nation's history and significant moments in it. He is, of course, the special report anchor and

executive editor and Fox News Elections co-anchor alongside yours truly. And the new book that he has

written is called To Rescue the Constitution, George Washington, and the Fragile American Experiment.

Brett, welcome again. It certainly feels a little like a fragile American

experiment this week, doesn't it? It really does. Man, I mean, we are in the middle of history,

you know, when you have the House Speaker being kicked out of his job for the first time ever

in the Republic. I mean, those are big, big moments. And, you know, all of these books that I've kind of gone down,

I've really tried to find these nuggets of history that people are overlooking,

you know, when you kind of look through it in a history book,

that may be fill in the blanks, each one of these books that I've done.

And this one really goes back to the founding

fathers. And it kind of fits in this week with all that's happening about the founding of our nation.
