going to review last night's impact wrestling. We're going to preview two nights AEW and NXT.

But first, Larsen, our WWE superstars turning down new deals. What's in the news?

So let's go back a couple of weeks, beginning of 2021, Fightful Select. Go subscribe to Fightful Select.

Terrific. Terrific. The best. Hattery Port, which stated that, quote, several new contracts

were offered in mid-late 2020 that were said to be disappointing comparison to those

handouts last year. This is a WWE Fightful continues. This has led at least a half dozen

talents to shuffle their feet or outright pass of signing new deals presented to them. Some

that Fightful have spoken to with have said they're opting to wait until things get more

normal to improve their situation. Now let's fast forward to yesterday. Brian Alvarez of

the Wrestling Observer claims that he is aware of two talents who have yet to sign new

deals. They are, according to Brian Alvarez, Matt Riddle and Ricochet. Now let's go back

further in time. Let's go back to December 18th of last year, 2020. Melcer reported that

Riddle had agreed to terms on a new deal worth $400,000 annually. And then about two

weeks after that, Fightful Select provides some additional details on Riddle's negotiations

with WWE stating that, quote, Riddle was made initial offer and didn't seem to interested
