This is Monica Perez, and we are here today with part four of our discussion of report from Iron Mountain.

So last time I did read the book review, which was very hard to come by by Herschel McClandris, which

0:39.9

was the name John Kenneth Galbraith used when he was reviewing books for the Washington Post,

0:46.5

and I couldn't find it anywhere. Once upon a time, it was findable, and then I couldn't find it

0:51.3

anywhere. However, having discovered that it was in App appendix two of this 1996 reprint of the book,

0:59.6

while Bill, listener and friend, sent to me the archive.org link to the appendices to the

1:08.3

1996 edition. So thank you so much for that. I'll put it in the show

1:46.8

I thought he might have mentioned this Navaski guy in it.

1:51.2

Anyway, there are a few different, you know, there was a lot of back and forth at the time.

1:59.6

All right.

1:59.9

Well, we'll get to all of those reviews eventually, and we'll talk about that.

2:05.5

But I got this edition, and it's so weird because I got this 1996 edition just the other day.

2:11.3

It was $15.

2:12.3

It's probably more than that already.

2:15.2

And in it, inside it was a handwritten little poem, which I imagine was from back in the day,

2:23.9

and it's super sad. It says, look, it's just a handwritten poem, and it says, we dreamed of having

2:30.5

kids. It's clearly in a man's handwriting, but we never did.
