Holy moly, there was some good football over the weekend.

I hope you all got a chance to watch it and have it stress-free since the Vikings had already played and won this week.

And a lot of compelling drama across the NFL, which we'll get into in just a couple of minutes.

But I want to start out with an update from pro football

talk on the Brian Flores situation. So Brian Flores is not under contract for next year,

according to the Star Tribune. So he is a free agent. Now, there is momentum gaining about the

possibility of Flores getting head coaching opportunities.

He has had interviews since leaving the Miami Dolphins but has not clearly gotten a chance to return to the head coaching ranks.

And after the game against the Detroit Lions, there were a lot of his former players and a lot of media members talking

about, hey, shouldn't Brian Flores get consideration for head coaching jobs? But if that does not

happen, then Brian Flores could have his pick of where he wants to go, including staying in

Minnesota, to be the defensive coordinator.

And on Saturday, PFT reported that the Vikings and Flores are, quote, working on a new contract.

But on Sunday, an update from PFT.

Allow me to read.

Quote, the increasing chatter in league circles is that the

Cowboys will be firmly in play for Flores. The Vikings were told, we are told, are keenly aware

of that possibility. So here is the question. Why would Brian Flores consider the Dallas Cowboys?

Well, you know, money is one of them.
