Hi again it's Barry. The abortion debate is top of mind as we enter

2022 with a pending Supreme Court decision that could radically change the

legality and availability of abortion in America.

So we thought we'd revisit my conversation with the writer Caitlin Flanagan.

As you might expect with this topic, this episode when we ran it in October originally

received a lot of passionate responses.

Some listeners wanted to know why we didn't touch on the abortion pill,

why we didn't talk about the merits of adoption.

Others wrote in about the sorrows of infertility or the injustice of sex-elective abortion.

But I think most were upset that both Caitlin and I for all of our reservations are pro-choice. I remain really proud of this episode, but we hear you.

We hear the listeners who wrote in to say that we should also include a guest who's

pro-life, and we're going to do that in the new year along with a number of debates
