Summary

This is a case that would obsess the British media for decades to come. Furthermore, the circumstances of Stuart’s death still remain a mystery to this day. The only people who knew what happened and could make sense of the tragedy, where a father of two young children had lost his life, were those individuals who attended the party that night. Frustratingly, the accounts they have given of Stuart’s final hours are a puzzle that has yet to be pieced together in any coherent way…

It's been nearly 25 years since the death of Stuart Lubbock.

Music At 5.46am on the morning of Saturday, Marchst, 2001, a call was made to the emergency services.

The operator was told that a male who would later be identified as 31-year-old Stuart Lubbock

was found lifeless and hypothermic in a swimming pool.

The pool belonged to celebrity entertainer Michael Barrymore,

The paramedics observed two individuals trying to give Stewart's CPR. It was clear he was not breathing.

Water surrounded his body, which was damp but not soaking wet. His pupils were fixed and dilated,

and his skin was pale. Stuart had suffered cardiac arrest and a pink or reddish liquid came up out of his mouth.
