1:20.8	he drove to Maine, and he disappeared into the forest, and he would not have a conversation
1:26.0	with another human being until almost three decades later
1:30.9	when he was arrested for stealing food.
1:34.3	So this is a guy who was living in a tent year round, including in the winter in Maine,
1:40.5	and was managing to survive by his wits.
1:44.4	And it's just, it's remarkable for somebody to go that long in total solitude.
1:51.2	Michael Finkel had extended correspondence with Chris Knight.
1:55.1	He interviews him, you know, in the context of this book.
